About me

Hello, my name is Kenta and I’m a Software Engineering student studying at the University of Alberta. My passion is programming and I have a strong interest in large scale infrastructure.

Previously, I had the opportunity to work on the Valorant core services team at Riot Games. There, I had the fantastic opportunity to work on the back-end services that Valorant relies on for its online features.

I also worked at Demonware Inc. in Vancouver, BC as an intern on the Capacity Planning and Monitoring Team. I worked on Monitoring infrastructure that monitors some of the biggest Activision titles like Call of Duty and Crash Bandicoot. I also worked on improving Capacity Planning tools to help plan the build outs for future games.

Before that, I also interned at Health Canada where I was a support analyst. I also volunteer with the Engineering Student Society at the U of A where I maintain and build their web infrastructure.
